April 2011 in Review

Since the weather gods cursed Chicago during April (we better get some damn good May flowers after all this rain), I spent a lot of time curled up reading this past month.  I read more vampire/witch books than I have in a long time and I'm kind of on a kick now.  My favorite two reads for the month both had major paranormal characteristics: A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness and Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs by Molly Harper.

My favorite non-review post of the month: Literature's Top Ten Mean Girls.

Beginning tomorrow, I'll have an exciting giveaway for the Spring Carnival Blog Hop, so stop by May 1 through May 8 for a chance to win!  I'm extremely grateful to all my new followers on my blog, Facebook and Twitter.  Thanks for checking out my reviews and commenting - I love hearing everyone's thoughts about books and I appreciate all the suggestions on good books you've read!

In a few weeks, The Brazen Bookworm will be getting a facelift, so be prepared for a new look in May. I can't wait for you guys to see the changes!
